Because

I’ve found living in the desert trying. I miss my normal. At one of my lowest points I sought solace in scripture and these words from Isaiah have become my mantra:

Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18-19 New King James Version of the Bible

  As my writing flows, I’ll be sharing some of the more lucid pieces with you, every Sunday from  Epiphany 2013 until…

  1. Dear Suzette

    Love the website, enjoying and learning from the Ephinany! Looking forward to your next installement. Thank you for sharing x

  2. What a way you have with words. These pieces have been quite lyrical and poetic. I feel very proud to be your mother. Of course your dad believes that you got this gift from him. I am not getting into any argument or discussion about that.

    • Thanks Mummy! Of course he would say that! LOL! One thing I know for sure is that my love of words – reading and writing – comes from you, as you read to an unborn child long before it was a la mode!

  3. When JESUS came into the world he gave us a promise of better things to come. HE told us ,let not our hearts be troubled HEalso said he is our provider and comforter. I agree with you logic, keep it up.I am not taking away any joy from your mother bank for molding you. I am just saying I made a little deposit in the moulding account.
    Love you always
